Crimes of the Wicked Wealthy

In the text, James tells the wicked wealthy of the coming judgments while warning the church about their sins. As Christians, we should avoid the same sins: foolish hoarding, defrauding others, living overindulgent lives and finally, we should avoid causing the needless death of righteous people. These are the crimes of those who worship wealth, not the character of those who worship God.
