Being Faithful in Persecution

As David has faced unrelenting persecution from Saul, his faith wavers-he seeks peace and rest and is willing to pay a high price to get them- serving the Philistines. However, his unfaithfulness leads to a dilemma. This is a difficult story, but we can use it to help us to think about the results of faithlessness as we face persecution, and to prevent our own folly.
