David, who had been insulted and refused provision was preparing to angrily attack Naval and his men, But Abigail wisely intervened, bringing provision and humbly reminding David who he was, preventing David from committing a vicious slaughter. As Christians, we must not assume that all of our deeds are done in righteousness. Instead, we should always consider the wise counsel the Lord has provided for us.
