The Judgment of God: A Tragic Assumption

As the Philistines Called the Israelites out into battle, they thought that not having the Ark with them caused them to lose. They made a tragic assumption. They thought that simply carrying the Ark of the Covenant into battle would bring them victory. They paid no attention to their end of the covenant, nor stop to question the state they were in. The results were tragic for Israel.
